Heyyy

So i know a lot of people struggle with the on off cycle of weekend boozing and binging

So heres a few tips to help you get back on track and help you overcome the merry go round

1 – Plan ahead some time so that you can batch cook some healthy meals then you don’t get caught out and end up buying crap on the go

If you batch cook 2 different lunches and 2 different dinners that you like then you have a little variety

Eg Chilli con carni, chicken fajitas

Then you can boil some eggs for snacks

The only thing you have left to sort out is breakfast when you get up

Don’t complicate it keep it simple, the more you complicate food prep the less likely you are get it done

Ideally you should probably set your days and times for doing this as well i find that Sundays and Wednesdays tend to be the best

2 – Make sure that you have all your training kit prepared so that you can get straight back into your normal routine

3 – One of the biggest reasons for people binging on a weekend is because they restrict themselves so much during the week

If you were to include 1 or 2 snacks around 100 calories per day then you don’t feel as though you are being so restrictive and less likely to binge and the wheels falling completely off and feeling shitty about it

Warning though try and avoid ‘trigger foods’ you know the ones right?

4 – Understand that all the food and drink that you have consumed over the weekend is probably going to set you back a few days so you might have to reduce calories slightly for a few days and maybe even increase your daily steps

If its just a one off then i wouldn’t even worry about it just get back to your normal routine

If its a regular occurrence then you maybe need to  restrict some of those snacks for a few days

5 – Have your workout days and times scheduled and commit to those days and times no matter what – just like you would a dentist or doctors appointment or an important business meeting

Set your alarm on your phone and make it an appointment

There you go i hope this was helpful

Oh one last bonus tip

6 – Always always always try and spend 10 – 30 minutes even 60 minutes per day doing some personal development like reading a chapter of a book or watching some inspiring videos on youtube or even listening to a podcast

I swear by this and have been doing it for years

I love reading and watching anything by Anthony Robbins if you don’t know who he is i highly recommend you check him out
